“Sweetheart” is a mid-late ripening cherry variety developed in Canada. It ripens in late June or early July in southern climates. The fruits are large, heart-shaped, and weigh between 11-14 grams or more. The flesh is dense, juicy, and richly flavored, with a thick skin. This variety is resistant to rotting in rainy summers and has high winter hardiness.
